My Morning Ritual...
Every day is a new opportunity to begin again. Today is the only day that matters. Yesterday no longer exists and tomorrow is dependent on today.

When I awake in the morning, the first thing I do is think about my goals. I then tell my wife I love her and begin my morning ritual.

I go through my normal washroom activities with a sense of cheerful, calm purpose. I prepare my mind for the rest of my ritual.

My morning routine consists of a unique mixture of stretching, Tai-Chi exercise and meditation.

It is through this routine that I clear my mind of all doubt and distractions and commit to create a day of success.

I ask myself, is this the beginning, the middle or the end. Depending on my answer (which is almost always the Beginning) I design my day. I consider my experiences over recent days, weeks and months and reflect on the lessons learned, and the opportunities to continue to learn.

I remind myself that I do not need to concern myself with the future or the past. The only thing I have to concern myself with is the decisions I make today. I focus on one goal and design my day around that specific objective.

Once I feel ready (usually within 30 minutes) I look to my calendar and review my priorities.
