| | Win Within!
Where does success come from? Recently I was listening to an audio file of Kim Kyosoki talking about success. She began her presentation by asking the audience the following question: "How many of you out there could use a little more success?"
Could you use a little more success?
It's a pretty dumb qustion isn't it?
We all could use a little more success. That is why we work so hard, read so much, and always look for the extra edge over the competition. Those kind of advantages are hard to find. Especially when you are looking in the wrong drection.
You see, what most searchers fail to realize is that success is not something we seek. Success is not something we achieve. Rather, success is something that we tap into from the omnipotent power we already possess.
The truth is that every success you have ever experienced came from within.
Think back on your life. As you recall all of the times you felt successful, didn't that power come from within.
Keep in mind that I am not suggesting you did it alone. Someone else may have put the bat in your hand, showed you how to hold your hands and swing, but you were the one that hit the ball.
This is an important distinction. Jim Rohn reminds us that most of us have it backwards. "Having the cars and the homes doesn't make you a successful person; being a successful person allows you to have the homes and cars."
This will be a recurring theme in the coming weeks. Keep checking back. If what you want is a little more success then that is what I will promise.
